#2 - Scriptures - I want to leave you with some very important Scriptures and places to go on my website to get the truth.

But here are some big themes and verses to support:

Verses that tell us about the Rapture and why they are different than the Second Coming: 

The Rapture - Jesus does not come down to earth - the True Church - the True Believers (Revelation 1-3) who have accepted Jesus Christ fully and love Him and His Word and therefore have OIL in their LAMPS - which represents the Holy Spirit and the World of God -  - go UP to meet Him in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4, 1 Corinthians 15, Genesis 5) Why? Because we are the Bride of Christ as Paul tells us in Ephesians 5. Israel is pictured as God's Bride throughout Scriptures and the Church is Jesus'.

The Book of Ruth foreshadows this as Boaz - the Jewish Kinsman Redeemer - takes Ruth, a Gentile, as his bride and she is in the line of Jesus. So as a Jewish wedding models when Jesus left He told His true believers - the Church - to stay in Jerusalem and He would send them a gift or a deposit - the betrothal - the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, and that Jesus Himself would come back for His Bride, the true Church, to take His Father's house - John 14 - just as a Jewish groom would tell his bride. We are also shown this in Song of Songs 2 as Solomon takes a Gentile Bride and is coming for her. 

But even before this, we see Enoch in Genesis 5 being taking up without dying - because he was righteous - and BEFORE the Great Flood when God was going to wipe out all mankind with the flood. Noah in the Ark represents the Jews protected - the 144,000, the two witnesses and other believers - that will be protected supernaturally during the Great Tribulation, just like the Israelites were protected in Goshen when God sent the 10 Plagues on Egypt and Pharaoh (Exodus 7-11). Everything in the Old Testament is not only an actual HISTORICAL event that really happened just as reported, BUT more importantly tells us PROPHETIC clues about Jesus and End Times. The story of Enoch is not just a sweet story about a sweet, righteous man, it represents something that God is giving us a clue about early in Genesis to warn us, tell us of something coming in the End Times. Enoch represents the Raptured Church!!!

Jewish tradition says that Enoch was born on Pentecost and died on Pentecost and this makes sense because he lived 365 years - a sign God is giving us that ties to our calendar today, and comes full circle = history ALWAYS repeats itself because God is a loving Father who tells HIS CHILDREN what HE is going to do in ADVANCE. The Church was born on Pentecost and will be raptured on Pentecost. 

So in Summary - the RAPTURE is about Jesus coming for His Bride - the Church as our purpose is done - standing in the gap for Israel to be a light to the world when they wouldn't - (Read the Apostle Paul explaining this to the 1st Century Churches in Rome - who were mostly Jews in Romans 11). BUT God doesn't replace Israel or break His Promise to Abraham, no He has to go back to dealing with Israel to fulfill all of the Old Testament prophecies that have not been fulfilled.

We - the true CHURCH, the Bride of Christ - are the pause in between the 69th week and the 70th week as talked about in Daniel 9. Finally, Revelation 3:10 says that since we have believed and have the Holy Spirit and have kept His commands to endure patiently, God will also keep us from the coming wrath coming on the whole world, as Jesus wouldn't want His bride to suffer before her wedding day, and the 7 year tribulation is the final chance for Israel and billions of wicked to accept Jesus. They didn't listen to the Church for 2000 years so now they will have to deal with the wrath of God, why our purpose here is to warn those we love, just as Noah warned the billions who were eating and drinking being evil until the Flood came and swept them away.

The Second Coming - Is Jesus coming back to earth - physically landing in Jerusalem as told in Revelation 19 - to bind Satan and his demons for 1000 years and reign in Israel as King of the Jews, the Prince of Peace, the High Priest. Tons of Old Testament prophecies telling us about this - Exodus 19, Zechariah 14, Matthew 24, Jeremiah 3, Revelation 20, Psalm 24, Psalm 72, Isaiah 11, Daniel 7, Zechariah 2, Psalm 47, Psalm 110, Isaiah 2, Isaiah 9, Jeremiah 23, Jeremiah 33, Ezekiel 20, Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel 39, 43, and the list goes on and on.
