Map of the division of the land we are reading about in Numbers today. The first map shows the boundaries Moses gave the 12 tribes in Numbers. The land and boundaries were clearly and specifically given by God, as His promise to Abraham back in Genesis.
 
The second map tragically shows Israel today. The enemy has caused the Israelites to absolutely live the lie and not their truth their entire history.  So in fear, not faith and trust, and because their is an enemy out to destroy them, they have given land away. BUT God will redeem and the land will be ruled by Jesus when He returns. We may delay or disobey God's promises, but God is always, always faithful and makes beauty out of our messes! Praise be to Jesus alone!!! 

2025 Update - You know I love President Trump and believe he is God's anointed and greatest gift to us in these last days. He is the final "trump" of the US. BUT he is dead wrong about thinking the US can buy Gaza or make it into the French Riviera! No! Gaza belongs only to Judah and not America and we must pray someone who knows the Bible gets through to him!!!

Here is exactly what God says in Zephaniah 2 - Gaza will be abandoned
and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Woe to you who live by the sea, you Kerethite people; the word of the Lord is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines. He says, “I will destroy you, and none will be left.” The land by the sea will become pastures having wells for shepherds and pens for flocks. That land will belong to the remnant of the people of Judah; there they will find pasture. In the evening they will lie down in the houses of Ashkelon. The Lord their God will care for them; he will restore their fortunes.
